Technology and the College Student

In her post on October 14, 2010, Peggy writes about how new technology is making its way into the education system. As a ‘non-traditional college student’ (which means it’s been a long time since I graduated from high school!), I too have been introduced to a new way of learning.
A message from middle school
A few days ago I tweeted "My 8th grader had a project due in PREZI! Ahhhh to be a kid again!" And I meant it.

The conversation on the ASAE & The Center's component relations listserv has turned to the issue of leadership again. It started with a conversation point about why all chapters within an organization should or shouldn't charge the same dues. We eventually talked about weak vs strong chapters noting its tied to weak vs strong leaders.

Change.gov is leading the charge in so many ways including this as shared on The Social Customer Manifesto. The message to me as an association professional is that we can shake up the association world too and it is incumbent upon all of us to demand this from ourselves. Thanks to Maddie Grant for spreading the word!
